Goodbye 2016

Life

In this midst of all this,

I know I am Strong, a

Man whose past

Is an anonymous dream of

Life as a fantasy

Even in this present shitty reality

Yes, in the midst of all this,

I stand and

SMILE,

I dreamt the reality

Of only living once,

And happy was how I died…

December 31, 2016 / Last 2016 Entry

Everyone afforded the opportunity to enter into this New Year (2017) will do so in a different state of mind. Some will be mourning a loss, some recovering from an illness, others in high hopes and spirits. While are circumstances are all different, let us remember to Smile and be grateful for every foreseen opportunity and leave behind the hurt and pain in the 2016. And for those that are struggling to find purpose and or direction, remember that the word of God is our compass. I wish all of you a HAPPY HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

2017

January 2, 2017 - Welcome to the New Year

At the start of every new year, resolutions and promises are made whether to ourselves, friends or loved ones. Many vow to do things differently than the previous years. Some make improvements to what was done in the previous years while others turn over a whole new leaf. As for me, this year begins a new chapter in continuation to what I've been working on for a several years; ME.

-MY STORY-

In February of 2002, I came to the United States weighting less than a 125lbs. I had plans to better myself by achieving a better education and going on to pursue a career in whatever field I chose. As it turned out, I enlisted in the Army in 2004 weighing 142lbs. For the next three years, fitness became an everyday life. It was 0600hrs wake, 0630 - 0800hrs PT (Physical Training) which consisted of Push-ups, Sit-ups, Pull-ups, 2 + miles run and stretches. I must say I was good at it. I loved it and the satisfaction it brought knowing that I had become something bigger.
